Cost-Cutting Wedding Smarts
In this economy when people are loosing their jobs everybody including brides are looking for ways to cut costs. Here are a few simple tips you can use to cut wedding day expenses.
Hire a Wedding Planner:
Now I know what you are going to say, I am trying to cut costs not increase my budget why get a wedding planner. Well, I will tell you why. Wedding coordinators receive discounts from the vendors they regularly work with, and those savings get passed on to you. Even though you will have to pay for the planners services but you are sure to save more than what her fees cost.
Choose Locally Availble Foods:
If possible choose locally available foods you could possibly save up to 15% . By choosing from your local food source you are sure to have fresher food and another plus is you can help a local framer/grower.
Buy Your Proofs From Your Photographer:
By purchasing your proofs you are able to make copies and enlarge images for family and friends at a lower cost, I did that with my proofs. Using my printer/photocopier/scanner I was able to enlarge prints, I then went to my local craft store purchased frames and framed my copies as gifts for my family and close friends. I did splurge and get my own framed photos professionally done.
